Alhambra Police See Double Digit Crime Declines with PredPol

The Alhambra, California Police Department has noticed double digit declines in targeted property crime categories since implementing PredPol four months ago. According to an article in the Pasadena Star-News, Police Chief Mark Yokoyama said that compared to the same four month period in 2012 burglaries, residential theft and grand theft auto all declined by double digits. “The only difference between this year and last year is utilizing PredPol in our policing strategies” Chief Yokoyama said.
